Bake In Bed
In Bed is known for its luxurious linen bedding and timeless homewares. But if you head to the Paddington flagship this Saturday, you’ll be in for a bit more than a happy shop away from the icy chill. The store is welcoming a sweet bunch of Sydney bakers – and they’re putting on a spread for a good cause.
From 10am until sold out, there’ll be baked goods galore – plus Artificer coffee by donation. Frank’s Deli and Sandy Bakeshop will be there, plus a few faces whose goods are usually baked-to-order only. Cake lords Added Sugar, Vege Mamma and La Nipotina join food writer Gemma Plunkett, recipe developer Ismat Awan and Taylor Clark – plus culinary talents from Sydney-based creative agency Buffet Digital.
Prices start at $5 and all the proceeds will be donated to Women’s Community Shelters, a local charity providing community-based support to women experiencing homelessness. A very good reason to jump out of bed on a Saturday.
